This section presents the solos of Sri. Raghu. Of the many exhilirating performances, these were picked on no other reason but their fan favorite reputation. The first is a recording of Sri. Raghu's solo performed for Nonesuch Records, Explorer Series released as "Dhyanam/Impressions." The other performers on this record performing a brief pallavi entitled "Bhajere Raghuveeram" in raga Kalyani set to Adi Tala (16 beats) are Sri. K.V. Narayanaswamy and Sri. V.V. Subramanian.

The second tani avartanam is taken from the historic Music Academy concert with Sri. G.N. Balasubramanium from 1961.  The piece at the begining of the solo is Dharini Telusu in raga Sudha Saaveri.  One can also notice vocal approvals by Sri. GNB throughout much of the solo.  Also, on ghatam is Sri. Vishwanatha Iyer.  This tani highlighted in the timeline also displays Sri. Raghu's fascination with the style of Sri. Palani Subramaniam Pillai and many shades of the latter are found during the course of the solo.

The third selection is a duet with the great Khanjira maestro, the late, G. Harishankar. This excerpt is from a violin duet concert in Bombay at BRRS by Sri. Lalgudi G. Jayaraman and Sri. G.J.R. Krishnan dated 1981. The clip has been edited from the conclusion of Ethavunara in Kalyani set to Adi Talam.
